Early Infant Care

Our team follows the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommendations. We recommend the first dental visit be at 1 year old or when your child gets their first tooth.

This visit will include instructions for using a toothbrush and toothpaste for your little one. Dr. Mari will complete an exam of your child’s mouth and teeth. We will spend time discussing toothbrushing techniques and cavity prevention strategies. We also want to help you and your child develop an understanding of the importance of early dental care.

Early dental care includes information on cleaning habits, eating habits, thumb and pacifier habits, dental emergencies, and cavity prevention strategies.  We want to help you understand what excellent dental heath means for your child and their future.
